Assuming you have a wireless router and a modern internet connection. to connect to the internet i would do it wirelessly, not only does this save the hassle of having to plug and unplug one cable to and from the modem to the PS3 but also it saves you having a big mess of cables. I am having trouble connecting my ps3 to my wireless internet, I have checked and restarted my router multiple times and strangely enough my laptop can connect to my wireless internet very easily. This sounds like it is probably a problem with your internet connection, rather than the PS3 itself. Try setting up the connection again from scratch (make sure your codes are in the right letter-case, my mate spent hours trying to work that one out!)
Aug 26, 2017 · Connected to internet but browsers won't open I am connected to the internet but at first web pages are unresponsive and then once I close no browser will open - Chrome, Edge or FIrefox. No viruses, have deleted all history, cookies, browsing data, have uninstalled and reinstalled browsers. However, the PS3 fails its connexion test and states that signal is not perceptible on the 5Ghz. But connect as a snap on the 2.4 Ghz band. - Got on and off 5Ghz signal on a laptop; connected to 2.4Ghz, everything runs perfect.
